VIETRI SUL MARE
Although Dal Pecatore is not in Puglia, it is worth mentioning. This dish especially with Ravioli stuffed with squid and served in a pesto with clams was sublime.
TRICASE
There is good pizza all over Italy; but this family place in Tricase had some of the widest variety and best pizza we've had.

An excellent seafood restaurant right off the central square.
Recommended to us by David Petrarca Le Zie in Lecce, is one of the best restaurants in Puglia. Right outside of the historic area, it's an easy walk. But a reservation is necessary.
